Affordable Dentures & Implants has relocated from its previous location on Golden St. in Cape Girardeau to a new 4,400 SF in-line lease space in Lambert Plaza, also in Cape Girardeau, just off of Route K along Siemers Dr., according to Tom Kelsey of Lorimont Commercial Real Estate, who handled the lease transaction on behalf of Affordable Dentures.
Arch Tax Company, Inc., headquartered in Chicago, IL with locations in Olive Branch, IL and Cape Girardeau, MO, has leased a new 875 SF office space located at 1704 Broadway, Suite 105, in Cape Girardeau, according to Chris Cole, broker with Lorimont Commercial Real Estate, who handled the lease transaction on behalf of Arch.

The River & Rails Building, located at the intersection of Main St. and William St. in downtown Cape, is down to just 1,500 SF of vacant space remaining after Last Mile Liquidators leased and moved into the 4,450 SF east end-cap unit at 101 William St. The other end cap, 111 William St., is the last remaining space in the newly remodeled strip center. Last Mile Liquidators joins Water & William Olive Oil Co., Hot Sauce Werks, and Frame a Memory Photography as co-tenants in the mixed-use strip. Lorimont Broker Chris Cole has handled the leasing for the landlord and all four tenants.

St. Louis-based Acme Contractors, an industrial construction contractor, has opened a new office and shop at 2380 E. Outer Rd. in Scott City to service its growing Southeast Missouri customer base. Acme, a specialty construction firm founded in St. Louis in 1947, will have three salaried employees in the Scott City office and will have 30 trade workers in the field. Tom Kelsey handled the lease transaction for the property owner.
In addition to the St. Louis and Cape Girardeau area offices, Acme also has offices in Columbia, Mo., Tampa Bay, Fla., and Fort Myers, Fla.
The location which was formerly home to Sunny Hill Gardens & Florist has been sold to a local investor and developer, according to Tom Kelsey of Lorimont Commercial Real Estate, who handled the sale transaction on behalf of the seller, Paul and Marilyn Schnare. The Schnares recently closed the business after more than 30 years at the 206. N. Kingshighway location.
According to Kelsey, the property is 1.6 acres in a prime, high traffic and highly visible location in central Cape Girardeau. The current improvements include multiple buildings totaling 11,427 SF. It is unclear what the buyer intends to do with the property at this time. The buyer was represented by Jake Fish of Edge Realty.
Hot Sauce Werks, a specialty retail store which sells 350 to 400 hot sauces and other food-related items, is set to open in late summer 2022 in the River & Rails Building in downtown Cape Girardeau, according to Chris Cole, commercial broker with Lorimont Commercial real estate who handled the lease transaction.
Robert Palleja, owner of Hot Sauce Werks, also has a location in downtown St. Charles, Missouri, which has been open since 2020. Palleja also has an olive oil store in St. Charles. The store will also feature a light food menu, with chili and other items customer can test hot sauces on.
Advanced Pest Control has relocated from its previous headquarters at 821 Progress Dr. in Cape Girardeau to a new 9,000 SF lease space located at 530 County Rd 317 in Cape, just off of Route K past Walmart, according to Tom Kelsey of Lorimont Commercial Real Estate who handled the lease transaction.
Advanced Pest Control is a second-generation family business that has been in operation since 1980, currently owned by Gary and Penny Schuessler.
