Cape Girardeau and Southeast Missouri vehicle owners will have another choice in having body work completed. Tom Kelsey, commercial broker with Lorimont Commercial Real Estate confirmed Russom's CARSTAR will locate a collision repair facility at 450 Siemers Drive. Bluff City Beer formerly used the location for their warehouse operations.

CARSTAR is North America's largest Multi-Shop Operator Network of independently owned collision repair facilities in the United States, offering auto body repair, paintless dent repair, storm damage repair with 24/7 accident assistance. They are celebrating their 30th year in business.

Bruce and LaDona Russom currently operate two other CARSTAR franchises in Dyersburg and Rutherford, Tennessee. The body shop operator plans on a complete overhaul of the Cape building inside and out to make it suitable for the new business. The building will be equipped with the most state of the art equipment for painting and collision repair. They also plan to completely repaint the exterior of the 16,000 square-foot former warehouse to compliment the CARSTAR company signage and logo colors. Opening is anticipated by early summer

Kelsey said his company is also looking for a suitable tenant for the former Bluff City Beer office building, which is a separate 6,770 square-foot two-level office on an adjacent site with its own entrance and parking areas. The building has great traffic and visibility from Interstate 55.

CARSTAR is unique in the industry that all repairs are backed by a national warranty and service guarantee. Owners and their employees are required to undergo extensive on-going training in the latest modern methods of auto repair, equipment and customer satisfaction.
