Missouri License Portability & Broker of Record Services
In order for an out-of-state licensee to handle a commercial real estate transaction in Missouri, the Missouri license law requires out-of-state licensees to do the following:
- Execute a brokerage agreement with a Missouri broker
- Consent to the jurisdiction of Missouri and the Missouri Real Estate Commission
- Consent to disciplinary procedures under RSMo. Chapter 339, and
- Appoint the Missouri Real Estate Commission as his or her agent for service of process regarding any administrative or legal actions relating to the conduct in Missouri.
The Missouri Real Estate Commission has promulgated a form for compliance with the Missouri real estate license law in this regard.
