H & H Building in Downtown Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Downtown Cape Girardeau lays boasts to several very historic buildings including the H & H Office building.  Records indicate it was completed in 1908 and contains over 50,000 square feet.  The five story masonry steel framed building with a basement in it's heyday housed some of the most prestigious businesses in Southeast Missouri.  Even today, a stroll through it's halls reminds one of something out of the history books. Much the building has retained it's wood trim, marble tile, plastered walls and the above door transom's is a reminder  of an era before central air conditioning.  Now owned by Ameren UE, much of space remains unoccupied.

Auburn Park Place - Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Two of the newest office building developments include the Auburn Park Place building above with over 70,000 square feet of space and the Lorimont Place Development, 90,500 square feet of total office area (pictured below).  Both buildings are located on Cape's west side, near Interstate 55 and are adjacent to the region's largest enclosed mall between St. Louis and Memphis.

Lorimont Place houses several companies including Health Services Corporation of America, Healthsouth Rehabilitation, State Farm Insurance, VTG Corporation and several other medical and specialty related companies.
