January, 1998 The Audiology Center of Southeast Missouri is one of Cape Girardeau’s
newest businesses that will occupy lease space at Lorimont Place, located between West
Park Mall and Doctor’s Park in Cape.
The audiology practice was formed recently by Steve Brown and Cathy
Willen; formerly Audiologists associated with Dr. Richard Martin. Their new facility will
provide a complete and professional service for the evaluation of auditory disorders, and
the rehabilitation of hearing loss. Both are certified by the American Speech Language and
Hearing Association, and are Fellows in the American Academy of Audiology. Together they
have over 30 years experience in the evaluation of children and adults; as well as the
evaluation, selection and fitting of hearing aids.
Tom Kelsey, Broker and General Manager of Lorimont, who handled the
lease transaction, announced the new facility would occupy 1,300 square feet of office
space at the upper level of the development. The space, located between The ImageMaker and
Physician’s Regional Network at 262 S. Mount Auburn Road is presently being finished
for occupancy with a January 19 opening anticipated.
