WARREN PLACE TO BEGIN IN SPRING
March, 1997
Warren Place, a new residential
subdivision project for Jackson, has recently been announced by
Lorimont Place, Ltd, a Cape Girardeau real estate development
company which will oversee and market the new subdivision.
Tom Kelsey, Broker for Lorimont
Place, Ltd., said the new 132 acre development is located west
of Kimbeland Golf Course, south of Indian Hills and adjoins
County Road 318 near Highway 25 to the south. The subdivision
will feature 169 building lots with lots ranging in size from
one-half to 1.3 acres.
Focal point of the new
residential development will be a nine acre lake to be
constructed with 24 of the lots having lakeside access. Plans
are for concrete streets, all city utilities and protective
building covenants. Plans call for medium to upper price range
of homes for the new Jackson project. Lots will be marketed
primarily to area builders for speculative building and
individuals seeking to have a custom type home built.
The property was formerly known
as the Barks Farm and was purchased from the Barks and Nitsch
families last year by Warren Place, LLC. Most of the property hs
been gently rolling pasture and woods making it an ideal setting
for a residential development. Plans are to keep the natural
rolling contours with streets and lot designs positioned
accordingly.
Construction is scheduled to
begin in the spring, according to Kelsey whose firm is also
involved in the Lorimont Place Professional Center, Six Thirty
Industrial and Corporate Pak and several other development
projects. Additional information can be obtained by calling
