QUALITY TRAILER PURCHASES PROPERTY

Quality Trailer Sales, Inc., a full service truck trailer sales and parts operation has recently purchased property on the I-55 East Outer Road across from the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport.

The company, headquartered in Milan, Illinois has plans to immediately start building an office, warehouse and sales lot on the 3.37 acre Cape Girardeau site.

According to Dale F. Mooty, President, this will be the company’s seventh location and their second in Missouri. Other operations are located in Chicago, Morton and Milan in Illinois, Des Moines and Cedar Rapids in Iowa and Wright City, Missouri. He said they handle a full line of Wabash National, East, MAC, Tremcar and Alumatech lines of truck trailers and related accessories and parts.

The property was purchased from Seven Thirty, Inc. and the sale was handled by Tom Kelsey, broker for Lorimont Place, Ltd. Kelsey said that about 25 acres remained available in this commercial and industrial tract being developed by the Seven Thirty Corporation with sales being handled by his real estate brokerage company.

Previous sales by Seven Thirty in this area along I-55 include Delta Express, the former Cape Girardeau Auto Auction facility and sites purchased by Macke Equipment and Precision Trailer, who plan to build in the future.
