LANDMARK HOSPITAL TO OPEN OPERATIONS OFFICES

AT LORIMONT DEVELOPMENT

240 S. Mount Auburn Road in Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Lorimont Place will be home to Cape Girardeau based Landmark Hospital’s operations facility according to Tom Kelsey, commercial broker with Lorimont Place, Ltd. who handles leasing at the development located at 240 S. Mount Auburn Road.

The new office will be 5,415 square-feet and will be located on the north end of the 90,500 square-foot corporate development located between Doctor’s Park and West Park Mall.  Landmark Holdings currently operates 4 hospitals located in Cape Girardeau, Columbia, Joplin, all in Missouri and Athens, Georgia. 

Landmark serves as a regional referral center for critically ill patients in the regions they serve. The medical staff of experienced pulmonologists and hospitalists are backed up by many other consultant physicians to provide patients with specialty care. Many of their patients are ultimately discharged home or to rehab facilities for further care. The typical patient's stay is 25-30 days.

Dr. William Kapp is the founder and President of Landmark and also serves as managing partner for Orthopedic Associates of Southeast Missouri located in Cape Girardeau.  Kelsey said it is his understanding the new operations office will handle complete support services for the Landmark Hospital operations including billing, purchasing, information services and other administration activities.  A July occupancy date is anticipated for the newest Lorimont tenant.
