RECYLING FIRM PURCHASES JACKSON WAREHOUSE

1900 Lee Avenue - Jackson, MO
One of Jackson’s largest industrial
buildings, well over 103,000 square feet has sat vacant and idle
for nearly a year and a half.
However, all that will change in the very near future
according to Tom Kelsey, commercial broker with Lorimont Place,
Ltd. Kelsey
confirmed the purchase of the former Rubbermaid distribution
facility located at 1900 Lee Avenue in Jackson by ISI
Environmental and Recycling, a division of Inter-Rail
Systems. As many as
60 new jobs could be created by the acquisition.
The
103,450 square foot warehouse & manufacturing facility located
on 14 acres is owned by John & Barbara Popp and will be used by
ISI primarily for their recycling operation.
ISI is a full service
recycling company, which offers solutions for a wide range of
materials.
They work with their
customers to find long term, solid economic solutions to manage
waste and recyclable materials including
paper,
plastics, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, nylon,
cardboard and ferrous and non-ferrous metals. They work with
many businesses and communities throughout the region in their
recycling programs including Proctor & Gamble and the City of
Jackson.
