THOMAS GIBBONS TO OPEN EYE CARE OFFICE IN CAPE

2851 Professional Court - Cape Girardeau, MO

Dr. Thomas Gibbons, O.D. will open a new practice in office space at 2851 Professional Court in Cape Girardeau.  The optometrist was formerly associated with the Regional Eye Care Center in Cape for several years.

The 3,037 square foot space located in a 6,075 square foot building owned by Morrill Development was previously occupied by Southeast Missouri Hospital's Pediatric Spot until their move to Doctor's Park. 

Dr. Gibbons will offer vision examinations, all types of contact lens services, treat various eye diseases, and perform vision therapy programs.  The new office will feature a showroom of assorted eyewear frames including fashion and designer styles.

Tom Kelsey, broker with Lorimont Place, Ltd., who handled the transaction said it is his understanding the optometrist plans opening the office within the first few weeks of the new year.  Kelsey said of the other half of the professional building located near Silver Springs Road and West Independence is also available for lease.
