CARPET CONNECTION BUILDING NEW STORE

766 S. Kingshighway - Cape Girardeau, MO

Carpet Connection, a Cape Girardeau based flooring retailer and installer has announced plans to build a new store at 766 S. Kingshighway.  John & Connie Fodge, who own the business have purchased one-acre parcel at that location and plan to construct a 8,000 square foot retail facility.

Tom Kelsey, commercial broker with Lorimont Place, Ltd. handled the sale.  The property was previously owned by Eagle Peak Properties, LC, which is owned by Jim and Beverly Rust.

Kelsey said the new site is situated between Cape Carpet & Supply Company on the south and the Eagle Peak office complex on the north. 

The new location will have a flooring showroom, offices and warehouse.  The company handles all types of finish flooring including carpet, vinyl, ceramic and wood and provides professional installation to both residential and commercial clients.

Carpet Connection is presently located at 330 S. Kingshighway in a leased building.  They have been in business and at that location for approximately 10 years.  Plans are to have their new store open sometime after the first of the year.
