CAPE COMMUNICATIONS TO RELOCATE!

A local Cape Girardeau based business will relocate to a new location with the purchase of property at 809-811 Enterprise, according to Tom Kelsey, commercial broker with Lorimont Place, Ltd. who handled the recent real estate transaction.

Cape Communications Corporation, a local company started in 1977 has purchased a 4,900 square foot commercial building and property formerly occupied by Sign Magic.  The building, located off South Kingshighway will allow the company that serves over 2,000 customers throughout Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois to expand its facilities. 

The communications firm handles all types of telephone systems, data networking, LAN cabling, call accounting and dictation systems. They are a certified Samsung authorized dealer for all types of telephone solutions and serve customers in sales, service and installation throughout the entire region.

Kelsey said he understood the building will be extensively remodeled over the next several months to accommodate the new buyer’s needs and an early spring occupancy is anticipated. The company is owned by Mark Essner and Mike Bles and presently headquartered at 615 N. Broadview in Cape Girardeau.  No sales price was disclosed, but Lorimont’s website shows an asking price of $254,000.
