Minor's, the Southeast Missouri Harley-Davidson and
Suzuki motorcycle dealership in Cape Girardeau is getting closer to
relocating to a new and larger location. Sonny Minor, whose
family has been involved in the business for over 30 years has built a
new facility on the East I-55 Outer Road, just across the interstate
from the Cape Girardeau Regional Airport. Tom
Kelsey, broker with Lorimont Place, Ltd. handled the sale of the 2.75
acre high traffic and visibility location. The land was purchased from
Seven Thirty, Inc. in an area that has had rapid development in recent
years. Currently located at 905 Enterprise in Cape
Girardeau, which is currently listed with
Lorimont for sale, Minor's will move into a 20,000 square foot building to house
a much larger showroom, warehouse and repair shop. Harley Davidson motorcycles
will celebrate their 100th year anniversary this year in August.
