HEALTH FACILITIES REHABILITATION TO OPEN IN SCOTT CITY

Health Facilities Rehabilitation Services will open a center in Scott City.  Tom Kelsey, commercial broker with Lorimont Place, Ltd. who handled the lease transaction said the Sikeston based medical provider would open a facility in the Scott City Plaza at 2112 Main Street. 

Kelsey said the 1,600 square-foot space is currently undergoing extensive remodeling for the new Scott City business with plans to open in early December.  The new location is directly behind the Rhodes Convenience Store and next door to H &R Block.  

HFR provides long-term, outpatient and home health care for residents in Missouri and Arizona. Individuals receive a complete umbrella of health care services including professional physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and industrial sports medicine services. 

The Health Facilities rehab team consists of over 100 licensed and registered therapists that also provide services to the company's 31 nursing homes as well as its home health care and community wellness programs. 

In addition to the Sikeston outpatient center at 1102 Sikes, other area locations under their oversight include Portageville, New Madrid and Thayer, Missouri.  Kelsey said the additional location in Scott City will serve those in northern Scott County, Scott City, Chaffee and surrounding areas.
