Missouri Farm Bureau
Insurance Services will open a Cape Girardeau office during the first
part of April. Tom Kelsey,
commercial broker with Lorimont Place, Ltd. announced the company had
finalized a lease for office space at 2907 Independence in Suite E.
The new professional office building is located near the corner
of Silver Springs and Independence St. and currently has three other
tenants. Kelsey said the
leasing of the Farm Bureau space brings the new multi-tenant center
occupancy to 95%.
The
insurance carrier is a 50-year-old company, headquartered in Jefferson
City and has 225 insurance agents and field managers in addition to over
400 field and home office employees. Missouri
Farm Bureau is the state’s largest general agricultural
organization, with more than 103,000 member families.
The opening will be
the first office in Cape Girardeau.
Farm Bureau also has insurance service offices in Jackson, Marble
Hill, Benton, Sikeston, Poplar Bluff, Ste. Genevieve and Farmington.
Kelsey said he understood the agent manager would be announced
for the Cape office in the near future.

complete line of insurance products designed for both town and country
customers including home, auto, life, health care, farm, crop insurance
and complete estate planning services.
