Cape’s
newest beauty shop will be named Concepts Styling Salon and will be
located in brand new lease space adjacent to the Edward
Bernard Gallery and Sylvan
Learning Center at 107 West Drive in Cape Girardeau.
Tom
Kelsey, commercial broker handled the lease transaction for Jack
Stanley, who owns the Cape Sylvan Learning Center and the four-tenant
center located just off West Independence.
Kelsey said the salon anticipates a mid-September opening.
Danea
Johnson who will open the new full-service salon business has been a
stylist for more than 11 years and will open with six associate stylists
in the new venture.
The 1,495 square foot salon will feature hair; all areas of hair
design, color highlights, pedicures, manicures and complete line of skin
care products and services.
Kelsey
said the unfinished space has been designed and finished specifically
for this new operation.
He said one other space is available in the multi-tenant building
that was constructed in the last couple of years.
He said they were working with a prospective tenant for the
remaining 1,495 square foot space.
